FAQs

Can you have double glazing with steel framed windows and doors?

Yes. Our slimmest frame size (30mm) can hold a double glazed unit up to 18mm in thickness. For double glazed units 18-28mm we use a 40mm profile.  Larger double glazed units and triple glazing can also be facilitated.

Are steel doors energy efficient?

We can work to specific energy ratings on request and will provide a job specific rating that will take into account the size and design of the door with the glass type.

What paint finish do you use?

We recommend a powder coat finish. The undercoat can be customised to suit the environment, ie, internal, external or wet areas.

Can I have any design I want?

Yes, each piece is custom made to the clients specification.

Do you do fly screen doors?

Yes. We can make a fly screen door to match the glazed door.

What steel do you use?

We use hot rolled carbon steel. All steel used is Australian steel and unless not available we use South Australian steel.

Can you supply interstate?

Yes, absolutely! Interstate delivery doors will take approximately 1 week to arrive and will come packed in a customised pallet box.

How much is the freight cost to deliver interstate?

As a guide a pallet containing two double doors sent to Sydney would be around $750.
